Description

No Longer Home No Longer Home is a semi-autobiographical, magical realist point and click adventure game featuring Bo and Ao: two recent university graduates who are preparing to move out of their flat and face the looming threat of adult life. The game follows the experiences of the two lead developers and how they came to terms with what awaited them after graduating university.

Wander through an intimate flat based on the actual flat that the developers lived in, and examine the everyday belongings of Bo and Ao. Delve into their thoughts and insights, and mould your interpretation of the characters through branching, multiple-choice dialogue. Have BBQs, play video games, and stay up late just talking in bed.

No Longer Home is available on PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.

History

Early History

No Longer Home is a game developed by Cel Davison and Hana Lee. In 2015 they were two recent Camberwell College of Arts Illustration graduates who were about to be forced apart by Hana’s student visa expiring. They began to work on 29, a short game recreating the flat they had spent their last year of university in, as a way to keep connected and explore their experiences. In early 2017 Humble Grove decided to push plans to make 29 into a larger game titled No Longer Home. They were joined by Adrienne Lombardo as lead programmer and Eli Rainsberry as audio lead. After a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2018 and partnering with publisher Fellow Traveller in 2020, No Longer Home released in the summer of 2021 and has received critical acclaim.

Recent

After the release of No Longer Home, Humble Grove has transformed into a worker’s co-op and brought in Beck Michalak as a new member of the studio. We are currently working on our second game Twilight Array.

Humble Grove is a UK based storytelling and game-making co-op made up of Cel Davison, Beck Michalak and Poppy Tilbury. The studio's first game No Longer Home was released in 2021, and they are currently working on newly announced project Twilight Array. The goal of the co-op is to work as a team to make rich narrative experiences that draw on diverse inspirations, and to do so sustainably for its members.
